Yes. That will be fine.
I didn't feel like rounding up everyone's entry ahead of time. Many hunters wanted to hunt near home first and not come to the club until after.
I hope to see you guys there. It's always fun!

I've got a spot I've been reserving for this hunt. Dad live trapped a bunch of coon this summer and turned them loose in there. Several of them were plenty big enough in August to win this deal. I've been testing them a few times this year and there is still a few around there. Its one of the few areas that still has some standing corn around too. Should be able to tree a couple there.
I'm down on dog power right now. Ox is at my partner's, Rocket is being hunted by my Dad, and I'm thinking Sky is bred so I'm trying to leave her at home as much as possible.
Cube would have a hay day at this spot.
I've got a club member coming up to hunt with me. Hopefully we can find a biggun' in there.
I'd love for you to come up this way some fall, but then again if I lived in coonhunter paradise like you do, I wouldn't travel too far. Especially when Michigan is a lot closer than Minnesota.

Weather appears to be perfect for tonight's hunt.

Bonfire, Hounds, Chili, baked goods, & fellowship... What more could you want for an autumn coon hunt.

Yep. Lonny Horihan won it with a 35 1/2 lber. That thing was a beast. Bud wasn't supposed to be out and about so Lonny went to his place and picked him up. Cut loose right behind Bud's place and treed that one. I guess that coon has had it easy the last couple years with Bud not hunting.

Jason Goetzinger won 2nd w/ a 26+ lbs. Tim Lawstuen won 3rd with a 24+lbs.

The rest averaged around 20 lbs.

Not too many coonhunters attended. Maybe a dozen. But there were a bunch of the Mason's club and Fish & Game club members that tagged along with the coonhunters. It was a real good time.

A couple guys sat around the campfire cooking steaks and drinking coffee. I took a group down the road and our first tree wasn't 200 yards behind the clubhouse. Provided some hound music for them boys at the fire.

It was a good time.
