Would like to share my hunting last night . .
If you're into coonhounds then you have surely heard of Harold Huddleston. Well, this wonderful man and his wife have blessed me and my family with letting World Show Champion Cherry Creek Banjo Rick spend the rest of his years (his 8 years young now) at my kennel. The first show/hunt I ever went to was about 4 years ago at the New Philly club in Ohio. I saw Scott Huston walk in the door with Banjo on the end of his lead and fell in love with that dog and thank my lucky stars that we own him. Anyway, we picked the old man up at Autumn Oaks this year and he is adjusting very well in Windber, PA. Well, we decided to take him hunting last night and what a night it was. That 8 year old dog acted like an old pro and by the end of the night had 6 coon treed! This dog has a unique locate and is an every breath tree dog. Not mean or ill in any way. We're thinking about trying to finish him into a nite champion as we feel he deserves the title. Anyway, I wanted to share my experience with a "show dog" getting it done in the woods. Thank you Harold and Carol for allowing Banjo to be a part of Midnight Kennels. He's a dream come true!
