??? About Nite hunts

Can you carry a machette on Nite hunts I was at one awhile back and was told I need to take it off and leave it in the truck. But I cant find it in the rule book maybe I am not looking in the right places. It sure makes it easier to get to the dogs in these NC swamps and cut overs.

Good question.
I use one in the thick stuff, as do a lot of people.
Never thought about a nite hunt.

Well Joe, if I was the MOH in NC you could, as I use to all the time, as it sure made it easy to get into the tree down on Drowning creek. But after one good year of hunting I had plenty of trails cut so it sure made it easy the next time out !!!!!!!!

Hope this helps, I don't think it would be any different than someone carring a knife on their belt !!!!!

Good Luck !!!

I can remember my husband telling me about a non-hunting guide that carried a machette on a nite hunt...he used it to chop the head off a water moc.

Thanks for the video Joe. My wife and her sister sincerely appreciate it. Holler when you get back this way again.

Later, and thanks again.
