Chad Carlton of Kentucky...

Anyone know Chad Carlton from Kentucky or how to get in touch with him. I own half interest in a real nice pup off Sunrise and Chad's female. Have been told the cross had been made before with good results. Was looking for any info on the female and other pups from this litter and/or the previous one.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much! This pup is going to be a winner. Well, if he's handler can get over his bad luck. He's as fast as Ive ever seen at under a year old. Quick on both ends. He does things that you absolutely cannot train a dog to do, and can tree coons 95% of pups his age might not even be able to open on. We have a big bottom here that was almost completely destroyed by several storms. It is full of blowdowns that give most old dogs fits. When he was 9-10mth old he was leaving good, old dogs that would get hung-up on, & have the coon treed in just a little bit. He's the first pup(or finished dog) Ive had since my old Nellie bitch died that could run a coon right. He never trails anything. By that I don't mean he only looks for hot coons, I mean u can cut him and another dog loose, them strike the exact same track, and while the other dog has his nose in the dirt opening like its 3hrs old, Dee will be 50-75yds ahead of him with his head in the air, screaming like he's about to catch it! I hardly ever brag on a dog, especially one I own, but this pup has me excited to be a hunting. I was burnt out and having to force myself to go hunting until I took this pup in to hunt for a guy that took a new job and didnt have time to go. He started messing with this pup when he was around 5-6mths old. Pup could tree his own coon, but liked to run. Dee was 8mth old when turkey season came in and hadnt been out of the pen in 2mth when I got him. He hunted him a week and he blew my mind!

I bought 1/2 of him and still havent looked at his papers. It really doesnt matter to me if he's 1/2 Australian Shepard, but Im am curious what his mama is out of and what kind of dog she is. Have you ever hunted with her or any of the pups from her and Sun?

My dad owns a female out of the last cross and him and his handlers have had differences and she has not had the best of chances but will tree a cage coon and run and tree with other dogs with limited hunting. Their mother is out of old stock SPRING CREEK ROCK and WORLD CHAMPION DUKE it is a proven cross.. These pups are sold before they get here, but she is getting old so i don't know how many more there will be.....
