the late jack anderson's daughter, kelly, started showing, against adults, when around 6 from i remember jack saying. kelly won open female, autumn oaks at about 12? i know she was young!!! kelly won quite a bit with walkers, both her dad's and her's as well as a few other people, at autumn oaks. she could sure handle a hound. made some adults look bad. LOL! kelly also won at ukc world with her dad's gr ch ozark mt. rebel. i want to guess around 15?
and then there is the real stem-winder that fopr years dominated quite a bit against older people....who could forget natalie drake? WOW! i first saw her at autumn oaks, in 1993. she was probably still in elementary school. LOL! her record of wins before 16 are most noteable. now a mom herself, maybe we will enjoy her future generation.
andi elburn, another early riser and look how she has grown to such a fine young lady and good showman. her mom and dad started her off going to the events before she could crawl. LOL! i have an old photo showing her in an autumn oaks photo. LOL! andi has been very successful since a lil one as well.
i think we will see more young people in the future and second and third generations move forward.
congratulations to taylor mills, her mom and dad can be equally proud. as they too, have had a string of success.
