Also you need to wait until she is not draining anymore, as some male will think that she is in heat and try to bother her.
Also, believe it or not, but females will smell like the fresh blood after giving birth, for quite some time, and sometimes coyotes can smell that and try to find the dog.
Just be cautious, and careful!!!
