May 14th and 15th, come out and join us in Swanzey NH!

The club and it's members have a new look, a new interest and openly invite ALL houndsmen and their families to attend our events.

There has been incredible work done by all MSA members in 2010 to make this club the best that it can be. We are in the "rebuilding" stages so please bare with us. We will do everything in our power to make your visit enjoyable and make you and your family feel welcome.

All events are "poorboy" events. (No trophies)

May 14th (Friday)
Bench Show - 7pm ($12)
Nite Hunt - 8:30 ($20)

May 15th (Saturday)
Water Race - 2:30 pm ($10)
Field Trial - 4:30 pm ($12)
Non-Sanction 50/50 Treeing Contest - 5:30 (ALL dogs welcome - ($4)
Bench Show - 7pm ($12)
Nite Hunt - 8:30 ($20)

KIDS - Bring your fishing poles and frog nets...seems to be plenty to catch in the pond!!!

IF we can come to watch some fun... we will try to make it on Sat... but need to know where you is?

WIll depend on how one of our dawgs is healing up from a surgery he had on a tumor. He has a kinda big incision and he can't be left too long alone until healed up... he is not the friendliest so we wont bring him along either...LOL... He used to be fine but got a bit frightened one time and is like an elephant... never forgets... Besides... he's the FUNNY looking BnT and Bob would be too embarassed to have him on leash...

Seriously... could you give us some directions?

REALLY hoping to be able to get there and see some of the stuff done in real life and meet some of you guys too!

Our clubhouse was vandalized again this week but nothing we can't take care of. Plans are already in the works to catch these bastards, I can't wait until that day (or night) comes! wd

Can't wait to get up there to NH on this Gorgeous day! Our BnT is healing up awesome, got 2 teenage boys(God Help us) to be sure the critters are all safe for the day. (that BnT cannot be left alone...basically EVER so we always have a human here...LOL...)
We can't wait to see some of the dawgs in Real Life and meet some of the real live humans too. Bob is cracking up cause he's going with a "celebrity" to a local event...LOL... ME being the #1 poster(if I still am...) BUT I reminded him I post for BOTH of us so HE is equally INfamous! HAHAHA! Everyone will find we are just normal everyday people... ME a bit Whacky and Bob even Whackier
Seriously we are really looking forward to going to this, we aren't able to get out a whole lot since I'm so limited with my energy... For Bob and I to get to share this LOVE of coonhounds we both had since the 70s... without having to drive to IN... is WAY COOL!
SO... HANG ON EVERYBODY! BIGCASTLEDAWGS... with NO DAWGS in tow... are going to be leaving Wrentham, MA in a couple of hours to INVADE NH!

Bob and I want to thank you ALL for making us so welcome! WE had a BLAST! I have to say I felt better than I have in years, trip did NOT take too much out of me and we felt so comfortable with EVERYONE! Bob took a bunch of pix,some good, some not sot good but I'll post a link to them so you all can see yourself or your dawg or kid(CUTE little boy having TONS of pond fun!!!) I rotated some of them but kept the originals there since I think they get smaller rotated? I figure if anyone wants to copy them that way they get the orig. size etc... THE DATE IS WRONG on the cam...BIG oops!

I'm just getting home and have the truck unpacked, needless to say I am beat! It was soooo nice to finally meet the both of you. Your pictures are fantastic and I'm really happy that you had the chance to come see some fantastic events and meet some fantastic people. Without a doubt ALL of the MSA members came thru to make this event a great one for everyone. I cannot be happier with the way things turned out. There were so many new people, new dogs and new interest this weekend it was just incredible. We look forward to seeing you and Bob again at events to follow. I will post all the winners later. THANKS WAYNE! It was truly awesome. Bob and I were talking about how NICE you guys were and how we felt right at home instantly. I bet YOU got some GREAT pix since you had that FANCY camera...LOL... Poor Bob had the cam setting messed up or he would have had some AMAZING "tree" pix.
Did anyone get out and hunt last night???? Hope so... it was such a beautiful sky driving home...made us curious about the weather? What a Beautiful DAY it was...JUST right.
THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I would have killed to eat some of thatbear chili.. but Bob would have had to put me on the roof rack for the ride home...LOL... Beans don't like me to ride with Bob... I AM A BEAN and chili lover too so that was torture.
I TOTALLY fell in love with a few dogs... I already "knew" Summit and Gunther but that big old Bucket headed dark red tick male of Steves, I thinK? WOW... I'd take him home and let him sit on my sofa...But I think he'd die of boredom LOL... Also "Blade" that bluedawg.... Yup... he was a looker! Loved the reddawgs and HUMAN family

SO... I have no clue who half the people WERE and probably missed meeting people I wanted to meet...But we'll be back!
BARBARA... YOU made me feel even SHORTER than I am! AND... you made us feel VERY welcome being the first human voice we heard.
WAYNE... it was nice to TALK to you instead of "talk" to you! LOL... It was especially nice to see that SUmmit ended up in such good hands!
Meanwhile I made the trip fine and felt awesome all morning but MAN being on here all day catching up from yesterdays missed posts has me seeing double! LOL..
We will be back and will do what we can to help out around the club as well.. it is a LONG trip and Bob does have some weekends busy with kids or motorcycle stuff but we LOVED the ride. WOuld have been spectacular on the bike... if warmer... but my old spine would have left me in a wheelchair if we had taken the WRONG driveway like we did in the Suburban LOL... That was FUN! Hadn't been four wheeling in about 25 yrs... Almost wanted to keep going.... but HAD to see those cool water races!
OK... Better try to NAP so I can do chores! Thanks again!!! HEather

thanks to everyone involved and everyone who attended it was one of the best events at msa for many years anyone who works at these events knows what a job it is to have a quality event and to those that travel to attend and partlcpate thanks with youall we can survive to keep our sport alive and our right to keep our dogs there are those who would destoy both thanks again to all see ya down the road mark york

Well... I'd LOVE to take the credit but BOB took all the pix! He did do a great job for the first time even seeing a water race. He took it as a challenge to get them in flight!
