Marvin Yost Annual Benifit Hunt

In 2003 the Medora Coon Hunters Club developed a hunt to raise money for the family of Marvin Yost who had become ill. After 8 years of dedication to helping others it's time to help another fellow hunter. Sophia Wineiger is the daughter of Patrick and Rachel Wineiger who was born with a rare deformity of her brain. Sophia has been in critical condition for a long while. During this families efforts to care for their child they struggle to meet financial demands. The Medora Coon Hunters now reach out to the coon hunting community for support. The club has had several recipients of this benefit including holding two hunts in one year for separate families. In the past years if there is not a recipient for this benefit proceeds were donated to the Childrens Hospital. The club donated 500 dollars to Riley Childrens Hospital in 2006. We encourage anyone who would like to help this family to come hunt with us. Anyone who cannot attend donations can be made to.
