You better hope this falls off the front page before the Black and Tan people see it.

Walkers accurate? Wonder what he was drinking at the Christmas party? Well they do accurately tree trees. Every time they tree they are standing on the wood, barking at nothing. If Hollow Oak thinks Walkers are more accurate, then he would pee on himself if he ever hunted with a dog with color.

It is a fact that not all walker dogs slick tree.Just like not all black dogs tree coons, not all Plotts are mean and all Red dogs are not worthless. Some people just cant seem to understand that.

HA-HA LOL!!!!!

Now that is some funny info,i prefer to hunt black-dogs,i hunt with my father-in-law who is a dye hard Walcur guy,he likes to listen at the black-dog,he just doesn't like to hunt his Tri-Colored
thingy with my colored dog(mine usually gets to the tree first)
But i've hunted with every breed and i've seen accurate dogs in all the breeds, not just WAL-CURS!!! LOL,LOL!!!

I hunt blue dogs cause I like to see coons. Not meant as an insult to any other breed. Everybody has just got to go with what works for them. Different things work out for different people.

My husband and I prefer redbones, but do have a blue dog also. There are good and bad dogs from every breed. My husband's favorite dog so far though has been a walker he had several years ago, that dog was an excellent coonhound from what he says. He says at that time he would have put him up against anything and not been ashamed of him.

OUCH!

Oh now that hurt me deep.......Mainly because as of right now I don't own a coondog. I will readily admit it because if I didn't and I turned him loose with ya, you would laugh me out of the woods....But he is coming along

I hunt English because the first outstanding tree hound I had was an English. He was striking and treeing bear off the rig at one year old and he made nite champion easily before I even knew how to call a dog, and I stuck with them ever since.

I am surprised that no one said they picked their breed because they like the color. When you go to sell a litter of pups, color is the most important attribute once the buyer decides that it is worth getting a pup out of the sire and dam you have bred.

bluetick

is my hound of choice.i bought him as a pup before i knew what names and bloodlines to look for on the pedigree.i hunt blue dogs becuse i want to hunt bluedogs.i may never become anything in the coon hunting world, but if i do,it will be with a blue dog.
you feed them, hunt what you like.i enjoy hunting over good dogs of any color as a good hound is a treat to watch.
good hunting
kudzu blue

I like the redbones. Thats what I started with and I think they make good coondogs if given a chance. Most just dont git going right away. I have had all the breeds and liked all the dogs I owned. But if had a chance to choose they would all be red.

I still beleive that you should pick the color that you want to hunt because you can find every trait you want in any color.

I hunt Every Breed,

I stopped being Breed Partial, after passing up Hounds, that I wish I had today.

Unless your a Breeder, dont worry about the Breed, just what the hound Can do.
