cant score plus on hearing, have to see it, circle. if that was the case people would "hear" coons on every den tree. as far as dead coons i have been given two different answers. never had it happen so .......

I would think that's kinda brutal, circling it that is.

We all know what a coon sounds like? I could be wrong but a coon sounds like a coon and nothing else. If the majority of the cast hears it and it's obvious that it's in the tree plus it up, it's the right thing to do.

This may come up alot more often over the next month as kittens will be chattering it up.

Dead coon is never plussed, or at least it shouldn't be.

WHEN U START PLUSSING SOUNDS, HANDLERS WILL BE HEARING COONS SQUALLING AT EVERY SLICK TREE YOU GO TO. THE RULES SAY "COON SEEN" NOT "COON HEARD."

it can only be a circle, by rule. circle is the right thing to do. it is the only thing an honest handler can do. no where in the rules does it allow to plus a sound. TO PLUS, majority must SEE the coon. How can it be anything other than a circle tree? I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but come on...Plus? no way!!!!!!

Circle!

There's now way you could her a coon squaw or make noise at the tree's that I have stood at. My dogs should be blowing the top out of it.

Just follow the rules. Rule 3(a) "Points Will Be Plus (a) When dogs strike and tree and a coon is SEEN" Anyone who has completed the 1st grade should be able to comphrehend that one.
