put him on some hot coons/dont let him know the coons are there or should i say just cut loose out of trap and hunt the hair off him by hisself/not to many cage coons either/mainly just hunt him hard and if its in him it will come out.and if he does amake it all those long nites willl be worth it. if he doesnt start over with another one.

I guess I didn't understand the question, I thought he wouldn't open on track. The only thing to do now is to "expose" him as much as possible; if it's in his head, it will show up. Tom

no i dont get started dogs normally hes the 1st 1 i got he was goin good but the guy who i got him from didnt hunt him much my every animal in my name is spoiled fat and gets alot of attention my other dogs are as close to a coondog as 1y/o can get my male dog has been in a couple comp. and slit every time but 2 and the 2nd he had 1&1st and had a coon on every one besides 1 and that was a den tree so im my opinion a a hand full of people whos hunted with him hes a good hound, ive talked to the breeder and other owners to littermates and all have said their slow starters but 1nce they get it your in for a long ride with alot of coons along the way
