Harry Bawls X Irish Rose

Who has a pup from this cross? I hunted with one last night and on a 4 hour hunt he is one of the very best I have hunted with in 16 years. I am looking for a female to cross on Sod Buster.

I don't think you can buy any out of that cross. Those that are lucky enough to own one will keep them I'm sure. Rich Allen in Ohio has a male out of that cross that is really tearing it up. The waiting line to get one from the next litter is very, very long.

I am not going to wait in line. If I can't find a female out of this cross, I will attempt to buy the one I hunted with last night and breed it back the other way. This pup is a carbon copy of the old time coon treeing dogs that we hunted and enjoyed decades ago. If I could get him to go tonight I would. This young dog has cost me a lot of sleep over the past 24 hours.

I'd call Billy Cochran..If anybody knows of one forsale..It would probably be him..You might even get in on a pup list if they breed her to him again..

Nelson, I know the pup you speak of. He is a "fluke" for sure.

fluke 3 (flôôk)
n. 1.A stroke of good luck.

2.A chance occurrence; an accident.

3.Games An accidentally good or successful stroke in billiards or pool.

I think the definition of this hound is best defined by #2. There is no other way to describe it. He was born 30 years past his time. If he can survive Rt 40 and I70, he will be famous.

I wish Mr. Kirkland lots of luck in his quest for him.
