You are taking all the fun out of it. Once a child plays with a certain toy long enough they get tired of it. jmo When you get to the tree tie him to where he cant mill around.

Don't hunt him at all for 3 weeks, and take every dog you have while he watches you pull out of the drive way without him. If you don't have another dog, get your gear and go, Leave with him sitting in the kennel, he thinks your hunting without him.

Humans or dogs that's one of the most important things.

When I use to teach cadaver dog class's I allways told them it was like a girl with a short skirt and flirty..........A tease will keep you following a long time. Once you had your fill you don't get near as excited.............. So like some said keep it wanting more. It is easy to burn a young dog out if it doesn't have the drive, lungs and muscle tone to go that much. If it is drive I would think about culling..............Could be weather too if it was on easy tracks and now haveing to work hard on old stuff........Could of gotten whiped off the tree by one of the other dogs to. Lots of could be's.........LOL
