question about a win

someone told me even if you already got qualified at an rqe you could still hunt others and if you win your cast it would be considered a win . i thought once you won a cast and got qualified you were threw with that dog at an rqe .

The answer is yes and no...You cannot enter another RQE in the same year once you have qualified, unless it is one of the few breed specific RQE's in which case you can enter one of those, if it is your breed. This allows you to hunt the all red thursday RQE hunt at redbone days (or all black hunt thursday RQE at Black and tan days, etc)

See Rule 10 of the World Championship Rules: 10. A dog may qualify at one R.Q.E. per year. Once qualified a dog may not be entered in another R.Q.E. with exception to a Breed Specific Event that may be a R.Q.E. There is no limit as to how many different Regional Qualifying Events a dog may enter in order to qualify.
