bear training

looking to train 2 older dogs and 1 younger dog on bear,looking to see how to go about it?should i use a drag?thanks

Your best bet is to get involved with someone in your area that hunts bears and kills bears consistently.dont be afraid to ask alot of ?.The best training is to get your dogs in there with dogs that are doing it already.Chasing bears is only the half of it .there is lots to know on what to do once this bear is bayed up or treed.dont forget a still tongue makes for a wise head.

thanks but the problem is no one wants to bring the new guy with them,so i guess ill go it aloe.any hints on training bear dogs?thanks

if

you see a bear try put them after them,my coon dogs will not run them i have tryed in michagan but you mite have one that will and it is not easey to pull dogs off a bayed bear.hunt with some one first
