OK boys (and gals) - we've got a couple hunts under our belts here in the snowy state of Michigan. It supposed to be warm all week, so get those dogs out and get em tuned up. Michigans first RQE is next weekend March 6th at the Wolverine State Coonhunters Club in Bellevue Michigan.

Bench Show at 5pm - $15.00

Nite Hunt - 7pm - $30.00

We had a great turnout last weekend, and I expect to see a good turnout for this hunt. Get your World Hunt qualifications complete early this year.

See everyone at Bellevue - we'll have the coffee on!

Just a side note to the RQE.

UKC World hunt is in our backyard so to speak this year. If you've thought about it but it's always too far then this would be the time to give it a try. Hunt & show.

We have a squirrel hunt here at Chesaning and Mike's kids are coming up and there not big into the coonhunting anymore. I don't have anything ready for a world hunt anyways. I'll go ahead and give everybody else a chance.

No excuses about the weather being too bad, the snow too deep... or anything else that prevents you from entering your dog. Now we will entertain loosing excuses: Never saw him do it before. He wasn't chasing that deer, the deer just happened to be running down the coons tracks. My dog isn't silent, the judge cant hear! My dog isn't babbling, he just has a great nose!

Bring all the excuses you can. But I'll bet there will be one man who says - We treed a truckload of coon, what a night , as he accepts his win.
