Just venting a little drove four and a half hours to look at two dogs last night both were said to be sure enough coon dogs one even had a 1st and 4th on him both were priced at 1500 and i think that for 1500 they should be pretty nice broke dogs. I know you not going to get a world beater for this price but should be nice anyway getting back to the story I was told one dog was deadly accurate and would fire hard you know your in bad shape when within the first 5 minutes the guy selling the dogs says never seen him do that before but to make a long story short we made 7 trees with the 2 dogs looked at 1 coon 1 den and 5 slicks why cant someone just tell the truth about the dogs would have saved us both the time and me the gas money and oh by the way your going to like this today this person called me and said man i wish you would have seen them after you left we treed 8 more coon never fails does it .

HAHA been there done that. had a guy try to sell me a 2 year old black and tan outta no where in walmart parkin lot for 700. i wanted to go huntin so i agreed to see what she had. first drop my old dog treed wile his female stayed within are lights. 2nd drop my dog struck a cold track worked it over the hill his dog left. when to my dog treed. couldnt find his dog. tracked her to the guys front porch balled up...i think we woke her up. told him no way got in my truck and was outta there

Its just some peoples nature to stretch the truth or just flat out lie....I like reading all these stud dog adds and also all these dog jockey adds in the 2 mags i get every month. One guy has 6 or 8 dogs advertised in a full page add and half of those dogs are all 1 st strike dogs and 1 or second tree dogs .WHAT would happen if you turned them all loose at once???LOL would he be a liar or just stretching the truth ....

Fellows, it doesn't make any difference if you're looking for a $500.00 dog or a $10,000.00 dog; you still have to "kiss a lot of frogs", before you find a "prince". A lot of people wouldn't know a coon dog from a milk cow, but on the internet, talk is cheap. My advice, look for good hunters. A good coon hunter usually has a good hound, and some sell them at certain ages. Tell them what you're looking for, and perhaps you can buy them when they are ready to sell. A good hunter knows other good hunters and can maybe steer you to a good dog. Another word of advice, if you're a buyer, be honest and straight forward with people; there are just as many dishonest buyers as there are sellers. Tom

lol yeah but hard to find a good one that someone wants to sell. if its good why sell it. but i whent to a trading days and almost everyone there looked at my pups papers. they was ok but not the best. and they had an older dog breed up good and when they dont ask any questions or anything you know somethings up

buy a good dog then it is looking 4 one and that is fack.you will spend a fourten looking if you foll with dog traders buy from a hunter that hunts hard and if he dont have one he mite know where one is and befor you even go try a dog ask on here mabey some one will know the person.they are some on here that would give you a dog befor they would lye to you but they are more on here that fells like they cant breath with out lyning about a dog get revernces on the person befor you wast your time when i was looking i tryed dog after dog and could not even find a me to dog much less a good dog.but finley did and he needed work but now and 4 a pretty good while HE IS A COON DOG AND THROWS COON DOGS but i have onley bread him one time but i have him collected.but dont forget they are some verry honest people on here that has a dog to sell from time to time.most the honest people on here when they got a dog on here for sale they will be people say you can trust them.david boggs
