Slow loading

What is wrong with this site? I know it has a lot of users but it is more than that. It gets on slow spells even when there are only two or three here. It's not my computer. Only happens here.

slow loading

This may help some of you out........
go to start
run
type in prefetch

It will open a file usually full of files, these files are just pieces of web pages your computer keeps everytime you go to a website.
When the get there you will see several files , some will have more than others if you have never done this.
After you get to the page hold your CONTROL key down and tap the A key , they will highlight every file , when they are highlighted hit DELETE and then clean out RECYCLE BIN , once you do this restart your computer and you will notice the difference. Do this at least once a week . PM me if you have any questions.

Prefetch has no effect of loading faster. It actually helps Windows XP load faster.

This is about the simpliest page I could find to explain the prefetch in simple terms.

I can clean out cookies and run a defrag and seams to help some but I am sure a lot of it is the sight part of the time. Just deleating the cookies helps a lot if you have been on for a long time.

You can allso right click on your internet explorer, then click on proporties and deleate and it will give you a choice of what cookies you want to deleate. I just deleat them all. You can do that several times a day if you are on here or browseing a lot.

It's been as fast as a speeding bullet since I got back in here yesterday afternoon and I haven't done anything! I think the webmaster must have fixed it! Thanks!

I have a fairly new 'puter with Vista and a Norton program that does computer management tasks automatically.

It looked like some important data files when I tried this. I have Windows Vista and it warned me not to do this?????????

Be careful with that. ! It's not your computer anyway! I saw it once this morning but it cleared up shortly. . It's this site. Has been great mostly for me since yesterday afternoon.
