does anyone actually

Hunt in this Crap lol AKA snow.

Here in SC we have 7 inches on the ground. Got a call from a buddy to go this evening, and i think it would have been cool. But our dog is sick so couldnt go.

Would the coon around here just be laid up?

They were moving tonight here in Michigan. 16 degrees, 6-12 inches of snow depending on the lay of the land.

well do you think they wuold be moving here?

I have seen where alot of folks and some studies say that they move and look for food regaurdless of the weather.
But id think in our area where this weather is not uncommon they would be moving, but here..... it could go either way really.

just making conversation to try to keep the mind off the sick dog, sorry. at least until next med time.

I don't think it depends on the state, I think it depends on the coon. They have to eat, drink, move about.

here in NH it's a way of life unless you want to put up your dog for 5 months. Coon gotta eat and get a drink, so they'll be out. I'm fixin to head out in a little bit...maybe this will be the night that we tree a 40 pounder for the wall!

david, couldn't have said it better,,,,,,,,,, them big rutting boar coon can put on some long miles too, and run that hound ragged! pa/ny mountain coon are the baddest of the bad! they are big, solid and mean! they are smart, and they will test your hound to the end! if your dog can tree it, and you can see it, the rest is up to you! you can pop it and drop it, or you can leave it and believe it, and run it again another time!
