After just browsing the nite hunt winners, I noticed a MAJORITY of the winners were from either OHIO, INDIANA, and GEORGIA?

I know that's a long way for those northern guys to travel, but they still found their way to the winner's circle! I don't think any of those dogs had any trouble treeing "those SOUTHERN coon"? From the looks of it, the only states that represented the SOUTH well were Georgia and Missouri???

Are the NORTHERN dogs really that much better???

Looks to me like the southern dogs DOMINATED the hunt..Maybe you were looking at the bench show results or somthin

well let's see a northern dog won the whole thing a northern dog took third registered a northern dog won grand nights i don't think southern dogs dominated. so much for the theory about bring that dog down here in these southern state and lets see how they do. we may have a lot of coon but the dog still has to track and tree em right.
