Amp

I was told it would pick up to much low level noise & wouldn't work by a fellow that is an electronics wizard. He modifys the Garmin collars & they are way stronger than when bought new. Although I haven't tried an amp I wonderd the same thing. If you try it please let us know. I don't have an issue with the range , but always wondered about it . Thanks
