How far does it shine?, can you hit the top of an old oak? just wondering, I've seen LED's that were bright to look at but wouldn't shine to far, the light spreads out to wide. how's your's look? just wondering if you would need to have a spot light with ya?

There's been a many of nights that I woud have to turn my light down really low to get them to look. I like the idea of having a really bright light that will last a long time between charges, but I don't know I feel about not being able to turn it down low.

G2 on a cajun

Guys if you have an older cajun light and want to run the LED head let me know. I will reverse the polarity on the head for you before shipping to make it work properly and stop you from haveing to send you light in to be changed.

poole....the G2 has a reostat on the head that allows you to turn it down infinately from brightest to nothing. . It also operates off the click switch on the belt pack. That's one of the things that sold me. You can put the head on full power and click it down 5 notches on the belt or turn it down on the head. Either way or both ways.

Do any of you happen to know is this K-light G2 head comparable to Valley Creek's Pro Duel LED?

I have some trade in stuff already sent in to Redgy. I'm just trying to settle on what I exactly need to order. I'm in the market for a new light.

I've given serious consideration to the Smart Light and plan to get one, but I don't like that I have to have it fixed on 1 item (hardhat, softcap, or neck lanyard). Different times of year I use all the above.

Never really worried about cords getting tangled so that ain't really a big draw for me. Give me a light that I can find coons with, that holds a charge for 2-3 nights of hunting, and something that will hold up for more than 6 months without needing to send it in for repair.

Is the K-light G2 head and the VC Pro Duel LED the same?

Is there any trouble keeping the light connected with your light. The plug looks like the plug in on the night light belt light and i had trouble with keeping the head plugged in with that light if this plug in is like this then I may have to order a different brand.
