i had a dog that would do the same thing and this is how i fixed it and no matter what you tell them they always have a answer and usually real off the wall sullution. or man send him to me and i'll hunt the hair off of him. well my opion you can't hunt every dog through every problem. thats not always the sure fire method to fixing a problem.

iv never understood why you would want some one else to train your dog.thats the whole fun of it.if you wanna call it fun.but if its in your blood then its fun.......

I would never let someone else train my dog... but if I were to I would want to know that they have the understanding that every dog is different and training needs to be adjusted for every dog.

The question doesn't say anything about somebody else training your dog.

Not everyone out there has the right answer for every dogs problems BUT THE DOG WHISPERER LOL, but i have taken several dogs that other people could not work out a problem with and have worked it out of them, and same with my dogs i have had problems that someone else have worked problems out for me, each dog has a personallity and you have to tap into that personallity. and its how each dog and handler Connect is how the dog will respond JMO and it works for me

That is no problem and I know what you mean about shocking them for running trash. I have done it and hoped I was riht myself.
Only if there sound on coon and I have reason to beleive they would run trash though. I am not tolarent of trash at all once I know they know they aren't supose to mess with it.

I know what you mean... but I know a couple of guys in particular that always assume their dog is running trash and shock the piss out of them haha... while my dog takes the same track 200 yards farther and locks the tree up with a coon sitting there. hahaha

Another good one is "The first thing you do is...."

Or "Get a short piece of rope...." haha

Yea I don't assume nothing till they have blown one mile and going for the second and still running fast. LOL
I have seen them do it on coon and the two I have right now are pretty darn straight but if I had one that woud run deer I would burn him up and hope I was right. Some times I will play the odds.

How about...... This will break any dog or this will work everytime.
It did on his 2 dogs...........LOL

I just hope they don't change the breed to much trying to do it. I think the changes they are makeing to chase the rainbow will have to be changed back as hunting plots shrink.
I would like to see one breed stay close to original win at the comps or not. If you really want to have a comp. for the dogs ability. Have one for the longest track. It would be easy to do since the GPS. That would show a lot more tallent in a dog.

What is the differants between being beaten and whooped? LOL

How the heck do you guys remember what you hunted against, who won, and what kind of dog it was? I remember the guys I had fun hunting with, some of the cry babbies (or atleast what they did) and the BS session at the club house before and after the hunt.
