IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE RED LOOKING OOZING STUFF IT LOOKS LIKE ALCOHOLIC SLIME FLUX.

IT'S A BACTERIAL DISEASE COMMON IN THE SOUTHEAST.

THE WET LOOK IS CAUSED BY FERMENTATION OF THE BACTERIA UNDER THE BARK. AS THE BACTERIA FERMENTS IT PRODUCES GAS WHICH FORCES THE SAP OUT OF THE TREE.

ALCOHOLIC SLIME FLUX

I swear I didn't put anything on that tree. I don't even know where you would find slime flux. Maybe a welding supply store ? LOL.

I don't what it is, but I thought it looked neat. Mother Nature, ain't she something.

No dead coon. We were squirrel huntin'. Just me and Whiskey.

This Whiskey.
