VERY IMPORTANT special Senate election today... VERY close race between the State Senator, Scott Brown, Rep. and Attorney General Martha Coakley, Dem.( the third candidate is Libertarian named Kennedy...not a real issue in this fight.)

I just got home from casting my vote, Bob voted on the way to work. We live in Scott Brown's hometown, Wrentham and it was really weird to see only Republican- Brown Supporters holding signs in a MA Senator race! This race is SO CLOSE and EVERY VOTE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Whether our Republican candidate or the Democratic candidate win this seat it will not be a "replacement" for Ted Kennedy... love him or hate him... he was not replaceable... However- our next senator WILL make a difference in this state and possibly in our country!

As I post this the outcome is unknown, but I hope he wins and the peoples republic of California, Nevada, etc do the same. The republicans had better be paying very close attention to what's happening in this country. If they fail..........again, that only leaves the business end of a gun. The elections in the fall will be crucial for the preservation of the republic.

WELL... they are DECLARING SCOTT BROWN THE WINNER! I know it's early BUT... this should send a Large message to Washington that some of us are NOT quite as happy with them as we wish we were....

Has the bell tolled for the DEMS? Thank you Mass. for being the first to wise up and see through this smoke screen they all laid down. You are the first state in what AMERICA can only hope and pray will not be the last to express our displeasure for this so called change we have in power. YES, the House cleaning has began, and it started in the Senate, and with any luck will carry all the way to the White House before we are done.

And who was it that said your vote doesn't count? Mass. proved it does.

WELL... it is indeed morning and... this wasn't a dream!

My dad is SMILING down(up?) Upon us as I type... He would have been so pleased. Was REALLY glad my 90 yr old Mum made it to the polls in Brookline... where she is SO outnumbered being a Republican in a REALLY Democratic town and then she was able to stay awake to wee the results too!

HOPING this brings the sort of CHANGE our wonderful country is aching for now... Brings us back to responsibility and accountability and HARD WORK to reap rewards! Some of us genuinely can't work for one reason or another... but I sure am hoping that the youth see Martha Coakleys arrogance and LEARN from it... you have to work HARD to get what you want....
Yeah... kind of excited here in Wrentham... LOL... Will miss him in town and working for his locals but... we have a state rep who might fit into his vacant MA Senate seat...
