Just letting everyone know that the deadline for submitting a nomination is Saturday Jan 30th 2010. Your nomination will need to be post marked no later than the 30th.

REMEMBER this year we are accepting into the Hall of Fame the following:
2 hounds

1 deceased member
1 Breeder
2 Active members

We at NHBA feel that the Hall of Fame is and should be the highest honor that a person or hound can recieve.

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATIONS AS WE HAVE SEVERAL HOUNDS AND MEMBERS THAT ARE DESERVING!!!

I have edited my post to reflect the end of the month as the deadline for nominations. We did agree to extend the deadline until the end of the month. I also forgot that we were inducting 2 active members.

This per the NHBA minutes.

AGAIN I HOPE EACH OF YOU CONSIDER NOMINATING A HOUND OR PERSON OR BOTH FOR CONSIDERATION.

RULES FOR NOMINATION OF A HOUND

Article 11
Hall of Fame

Each year the NHBA will nominate and elect a dog or dogs to the Hall of Fame. Qualifications for a dog to be nominated is the dog has to be at least six (6) years old, has to be at least a UKC Hunting Beagle Champion or Performance Pack Champion and has to have produced at least one (1) UKC Hunting Beagle Champion or Performance Pack Champion at the time of the nominations. Any member in good standing, Charter, Gold, or Regular, can nominate a qualified dog; however, only Charter and Gold members in good standing are eligible to vote the dogs into the Hall of Fame. The number of dogs to be elected and the time of nominations and voting will be decided by the Executive Committee
