good from what i have seen from other hunters. all lights today are just about the same. blazer is most likely the leader in the light market. i have a western rivers 17, nite light 6, foggy top 21, and they all work bout the same. one may be brighter than the other but they all do the job. i just about rather hunt with my old 6 volt most of the time

Best Light

I hunt at least 4 nites a week every week. I have had my Blazer 21 for 5yrs now and it has never let me down or has ever been repaired. This year I will be hunting with the Laser Torch and the Laser Torch 2. Both of these lights are super bright and have a 2yr warr. Good luck with you decision.

redneck

i have saw a lot of guys with the moonshiner lites and they seem to be desent lites but i've been using the coonbuster lites for about 16 years and i'm on my 3rd one......i really like my 24 volt coonbuster.............alot of guys bank on bright eyes lites but i don't have any thoughts of changeing as long as i can get a battery pack or another coonbuster as brite as the 24 volt or brighter.............................i'm glad that you're back to hunting.....
maybe i'll get back to hunting a little bit more also.........

Ive had my mooshiner for about 3 years now and its been very reliable and more than bright enough to get the job done. I have only had an old nite light and an action light to compare it by as far as what Ive had personally but as far as Im concerned it was well worth the money and the best I have had. I would have no problem at all recommending one for ya.

LIGHTS

I dont own a moonshiner or a coonbuster, but I have research a lot of lights. And to me it makes no sense to pay as much for a light that will burn only two hours on high as a light that will burn 6 hours on high for the same money and be just as bright. One thing I always look at is the amp hour rating this is how you determine burn time. And so far their are only two lights on the market that will give you brightness and long burn time and a belt type light. One is the competition 20 volt burn time 20 hours on low and 5 hours on high. The other is the cajun stinger 21 volt 16 to 20 hours on low and 4 hours on high. compared to moonshiners best 1 1/2 hours on high and coonbusters 2 hours on high. To me it is a no brainer. AMP HOURS more important than volts unless you only hunt an hour or two at a time.

Moonshiner can make a light that will have the burn time with a 8 amp battery pack but most hunters do not what the wight a 8 amp pack has weigh 4 pounds and the cost.Moonshiner belt lights burn 2 hrs not 1 1/2 hrs on the high side. with the new led heads out you can get longer burn time.
we have lights with led heads . the new mini 15 will burn 300 hrs on the 1 click 300 hrs. , 2 click 100 hrs. , 3 click 30 hrs. , 4 click 3 hrs. it sales for 239.95

any can call me about Moonshiner Lights and i will do best to answer question about Moonshiner Lights . we will be back open on Monday everyone have a Merry Christmas
