Where are the coon's?

I have a 3 year ol' redbone whose was burning the woods up until christmas.... now i have not seen a coon since.. have made a couple den trees and had a few he just couldnt figure out... I think Habersham county's coon hunting is about shot out.. anyone know of any places in banks, stephens, franklin or white county that a man can hunt???

Thanks, Glen

Just wondering, were you shooting out every coon you treed. I like to knock em out as much as anyone, but I have learned ya gotta let some go. We have a place that last year you would strike one everytime you hunted there and this year we have only treed 2 on that place. Maybey they moved, maybey we shot too many, I don't know but we shoot less than half of what we tree now.

Crazy weather and the rut has started. Takes a dog to tree a coon this time of the year.

weve been

having pretty good luck.. oldest dog were packing is 18 months old. 3 nites ago we treed three singles by 930. and two the next night.. As far as the shooting them out... Its depends on where im at.. Where im at ppl believe if one goes up one comes down.. two goes up two goes down.. If im on ground that im the only person allowed on i consider on it depending how good of a job he does. ut if i know ppl are hunting the ground im treed on.. Its coming out.. Cause it dont have a chance in the world to live again if another guy trees it.

My hunting has been the same but last night went out just before the storms rolled in and treed 2 single and one double in less than two hours. so i hope things are going to pick back up.
