If you are just going to punish with one those will be great. If you are going to train with it I would get a Dogtra 3500 NCP. You can't beat them for training and punishing. The vibrator is great for calling them in from a mile away even when they are around a bawling hound and can't here you or the beep on a collar.

Never had one that couldn't hear the tone button so I was curious if you kept your in an airport hanger where they have damaged their hearing or something... LOL Just kidding now dont let me upset you.

I threw out a Trash Breaker and got a Hound Hunter 3200. For the money in the unit and extra collars you wont find a better 2 mile shocker, and its got a limited lifetime warranty.

I got a 3200 and it's a pretty good basic system. Prettty good range. Only drawback is no vibrate or tone functions.

LOL No not an air port but my blue pup is louder than a jet on the tree. So If you are going to get them to come off a tree I will have to have the vibrator. I don't want to have to guess as to weather they can here it either.
What do you hunt that they can here that little beep when they are treed. Now here I could make some sugestions BUT I won't. LOL The thing is I can't insult and breed hardly becouse I have a B&T, Bluetic, and a 8 weak old walker( first one I ever had). So if I ever give any body hec about there breed it is in fun. I am not collar blind at all.
By the way I don't get up set in fun. Life is boreing with out giveing each other hell. LOL

It comes with a lanyard to put around your neck. Several years ago I dropped a transmitter that was in a pouch on my belt in the creek, luckily I found it the next day, Now I wear it around my neck.
