Diamond Plate Dog Box

I know a couple guys have done it thereselves and saw the diamond deluxe ad with one in it this month, but my question is...When you spray the outside of the box with the rhinoliner coating, does it raise the temperature inside the box in the summer months???

I bought three idential thermometers - 1 for linex box, 1 for normal box, and 1 for outside temp.

Atter 3 days of checking at different times during the day, there is no difference in the linex box inside temps compared to the inside temps of the normal box.

On Tuesday, 1 reading was 2 degrees cooler in the linex box over the normal box -- that was the only incident of any difference over the 3 days of testing.

I see where you have to sand the surface before applying it, what would you use to sand the diamond plate material. Anyone know or have any suggestions?

They sandblasted and roughed up the box before they applied the LineX.

all your doing us scuffing the surface so it'll stick. any sort of fine sand paper should work. nothing to rough so the scrates dont show. i could be wrong. i'm just going by my knowledge of body work.
