Reflective Sleeves For Tracking Collar Att.

Does anyone use the reflective sleeves for tracking collar attena's was just wondering if it affects the reception or anything???

no,i just couldnt keep them on.you always could drive dwn the
rd and try it before you put them on a dog.

Yea never thought of that!! Makes me feel stupid!! I did use a small zip tie that came with them, but yea will definately try driving away first, thanks again!!!

It might just be my imagination, but I always felt they cut down on the reception a little.

Not enough that I couldn't put up with it, but it did seem to effect it to me.

I have used about 10 of these things. the average time they stayed on the antenna had to be about 42 seconds. I have tried taping them, wire ties and everthing imaginable. I just quite using them.

They seem to fit the garmin better, and it has a nylon sleeve that the attena goes through, so I slid the reflective cover down through it, then put the zip tie on it, I could n't pul it off!!!

ive been usin them with my garmin collars for a while, and haven't noticed any difference in reception, put a zip tie top and bottom. have one that's stayed on for about 4 months, while the other dog just keeps losin his!
