Whats your opinion on pups let them run loose all day and night or keeping them in the kennel and just take them hunting.

I have always had better luck letting them run loose until they started showing signs of wanting to run and tree.

Letting them run lose is going to depend on where you live and how much land is around you that no one lives on. At my grandparents old home place, Pa would let pups run loose and they would almost train themselves. I can still remember when I was little, hearing them run and tree at night while we sat on the porch. Those were good days, seems hard to do that these days and times.
