got a sick dog need advice

Ok my 1yr old english dog has been acting like he is choking on something and tries to throw it up. I was rubbing his throat earlier and he walked away and threw up white foamy looking stuff looked like an alcazeter. he is on a chain and cant get ahold of nothing unless a frog came in the pen with him. He hasnt been in woods since last wed so I do not believe he ate anything then unless its taken this long to kick in. He had 4 7way shoots as pup so shouldnt be parvo. He is still eating good and barking fine just not as much as he does at times. He keeps dry heaving and was slobbering when got back from hunting my female. Two other dogs within 20 feet of him and they act fine. Any idea what could be causing this?

sounds like he has something hung in his throat. i have a boxer done this once she finally hacked up a peice of a chew bone about the size of a golf ball, don't know how in the world she swallowed it. also had a hound slobbering and dry heiving something awful, took him to the vet and he had ulcers on his gums. vet said he probably drank some bleach or something when i was out hunting him.

No frogs are out this time of year unless you are further south. WAY FURTHER.

Vet says got too much safe guard horse wormer when wormed the other day. Said it cleaned him out but may have got too muc. Got a shot to clean him out and some metoclophamite or something pills to give. Old man at local feed store after hearing this said he must could not have fllushed the worms in his system quick enough and made him sick. Who knows at least not heartworm.

talk about vet bills i bought a hound that had cherry eye in both eyes got an estimate from a vet wanted 170 per eye so i brought him to my horse vet he said you hold him then gave him a local and within 6 or 7 minutes cut them out dog shook his head blood all over so i cleaned it up went out to pay girl says 40 dollars i said no he just had cherry eye taken out she comes back out and said it's 40 bucks well i laid the dog on my back seat put news paper under him by the time i got home you couldn't even tell what was done.
