suspenders or belt?

what kind do you have your light connected to. i know dyhard people using both.
which to you prefer and why(also have you used the other?)

i have been using a belt and belt light Combo but seriously thought about using the suspender type so i can hang my gps and shock collar off of it.. i have the wick jacket with only four pockets and none hold the gps and transmitter well.. the down fall of them is (in my opinion) they are sort of dorkey..lol

whats you thoughts.

i use a box light with a belt. i've neve tried suspenders but i think they would get hung up more than a box light. also, i think the suspenders would cause the shirt or jacket to bunchup in some places. in cold weather i might be ok. i wear bibs and the belt works well for me. btw, i also carry a backpack, always with lots of stuff in it for emergencies.

I was looking into that vest that Bright Eyes has out. I liked the looks of it from what I could see. Anyone have it? Good and Bad? Has a place for a Maxima, Garmin, Shocker, Water bottle, Light and all kinds of things.

I've always just used a belt, I just slide my shocker or tracker on my belt on the other side.

I've used belt lights and suspender lights both. I use suspenders on my belt light now, really makes it eaiser to carry.

Don't you still have to use a belt if you have suspenders?? I only use a belt, I found suspenders really uncomfortable. i think suspenders were much more popular when lights weight 5 and 6 pounds and were in a box. It helped distribute the weight more even across your shoulders so your back didn't hurt so bad carrying the light on a belt on the side of your hip all night.

With 2lb lights and NiHm batteries, carrying the light isn't near the issue that it once was. I can't even tell I am wearing my 21 volt.

I use suspenders, it works great. Mainly because my big belly gets in the way, so I just dont clip the belt. I just let it hang open!! HAHA, I hated just having a belt. ALway pulls your pants down, and is a pain in the A$$.

My father uses suspenders with his belt even after he got his belt light, he used it a few nites with just the belt and said something about having to keep the belt to tight.
