Showing hounds

I have a hound that i would like to start on the bench.. i've started some hounds on the bench.. to be honest im not really a shower, im more of a "hunter" BUT i like to teach hounds to pose for pics and what not.. normally when i have a very hyper hound, i just cut there feed back, let them run around a few hours.. and calm down.. well that ain't slowed this dog down ANY.. i mean i CUT back on the feed to the point it was bad lookin, let him stay out the pen i know 3 days.. steal ain't slowed down.. HOW can i get him to calm down and stay on the bench?

thanks for ANY info..
