Dog food - Retriever Hi Pro - anyone feed?

Anyone feed this food? If so, good or bad? Any/all opinions appreciated!

Fed a couple bags two or three months ago. I'd say it is a middle of the road feed. Dogs did alright on it, ate it good. About what you would expect for the price.

Mine have been on it for about two months and seem to be doing fine. Stools are small and firm and the dogs like it. I've fed a lot of dogs and a lot of feeds over the years and I have found price and quality do not always go hand in hand.

I tried it for a couple weeks - the dogs ate it well but lost weight so discontinued using it. Ours now eat Red Flannel 24/20 by Purina Mills.

We feed it and have for a few years now. The dogs like it and do well on it. $19.99 per 50lbs at our Tractor Supply stores.
You can get $5 off a $25 purchase by following a link on their website. It's over on the far right side of the page. Won't let me copy it.

Its a manipulative selling game by Purina. The bag plainly states if you like High Pro you'll love Retriever. Be honest with your customers and they will be honest with you, thats what I like.
Im sure the feed is working for you, I just dont like Purinas selling tactic.

Cheap food........not really !you feed a cheaper food and you make yourself feel better by not spending as much money.....
But you pay more because it takes more of it to keep your dog lookin decent. If you hunt the dog you will notice a difference in the dogs appearance and performance. You get what you pay for,a cheap food.

I have been feeding Enhance 30/22, pro. athlete
it is working for my dogs, a little hard to get in my area, but worth the trouble.I am able to actually feed less of it, and my dogs look great, very little clean up,and it is like rocket fuel!

I been thinking of putting mine on this. But didn't know anyone that used it around my area. Sounds like it is worth a shot.

I switched after the Purina Hi Pro went off the market its cheap and my dogs love it and they look the same if not better as far as muscle mass goes. i will continue feeding this until the price goes thru the roof but at $19 for 50lbs cant beat it
