Mine are real comfortable..... seems I hear of alot of people saying they tear up real fast. Mine are starting to wear out, but no worse than any other boot I've had.

Mucks

I had a pair with yoder chaps and absolutely loved 'em.Like cj said, they are very comfortable.I got my left boot caught one night on a barbed wire fence and it tore a gash in the top of the boot.Wish I had another pair.I'm gonna get another pair soon.

I'm on my second pair of Yoder chaps on Mucks. I wore out the soles on the first pair of boots in a little less than a year.

I love my Mucks. Hold up very well and protect your ankle's very well. I pound the side of my foot into the side of the muddy creek banks to get up them. They have to be pretty stiff for that. My friend couldn't do it at all and had heck getting up banks. He allways wanted my boots.
If you don't like them just tell her to send them to me. Sounds like a good woman to me. It will make her feel good to be right (which she is) and if you can make her feel good and get some of the best boots made. You might stay married longer. lol

boots

last year i purchased a pair of rocky buck stalkers for 120.00. i hunt three nights a week minus two weeks of rifle season here in PA. I wore them out with in 6 months. i've heard alot of good things about muck boots and for the money most other brands cost i would say go for it.

If you want to stop wearing out the heel....take a small bead of silicon caulk and rub it in the heel of each boot and let it dry overnight. This will provide enough friction to hold your heel from sliding and prevent wearing out socks and boots.

Muck boots

I've owned two pair of the "Wetlands" for probably 3 or 4 years now, I have absolutely beat them to death and they still hold up. Best hunting boots I've ever owned. jmo, wd.

I would not like them for where you hunt Wayne. You are up and down hills a lot and to me they are too loose on my foot for that. If you are on flat ground they are great. That is just my experience. They are not the most supportive boots out there. Warm, comfortable, yeah, supportive, no.

I got a pair this fall, they're nice and warm boot on cold nites, but they are also one of the most uncomfortable boots i've had too. I can't wait till it warms up so I can go back to wear my Lacrosse boots again.

I put those jell souls in every pair of shoes I get. I am a barber and stand on my feet a lot. Learnd a long time ago they are worth the money. They have a lot of differant kind. I just get the ones that cover the whole soul. They have a big selection at walmart.

I have had a pair with the wick chaps. My feet never get cold or wet. Now the part I dont like, they are to heavy for coon hunting I end up with back pain. I now use them for duck hunting only and love them for that.

I really liked mine till the heal went out now can hardly wear them without getting bad rubbing on my heal. They are not very old either maybe 2 or 3 months old think next time will just stay with my Lacross boots.
