Had this same problem out of one of my DC 30 collars. I took it appart several times thinking it had a loose wire or something but it never helped. Try doing a collar update while its on the charger. Turn it on and go through the latest Garmin collar update version. It may hepl who knows. If not I would say youre batteries need replaced.

One of mine did the same thing at 1.5 years of age. I mailed it back for repairs and they sent me a brand new one back.
