Dont know much about MR Smith. But i am hunting a 15 month old female out of Buck Creek Buck and a Nt Ch Clover gyp that was a pure natural to start. She was splitting and holding pressure at 8 months old. At first she had kind of a squeaky mouth on track a WICKED locate and a loud nice steady 80-100 BPM tree bark. At 15 months she is very tough to beat to the tree. When hunted with other dogs she dont bark that much on track ( i susally take 3rd or 4th strike in a hunt) but is very good about getting way ahead of the other dogs then BOOM treed. I have 2 2nd place wins on her. Hoping to get that first this weekend. As far as her voice now she has a nice short bawl/sqawl on track and still has the hair raising locate and trees around 100 bpm. She is starting to hunt till she gets treed anymore whcih could mean 200 yards or 2 miles. But you pull her off a tree somewhere. She is prob 85% accurate since the leaves have been off and can tree them layups real well.
As far as looks and temperament. She is about a 60 lb female with very long legs. She is open spotted with a blaze dark red head. I keep her on a pully and i have a 7 month old Bo Jangles pup that i have been letting run loose for a while, and thos to would romp all day if ya let them. Iv never had any trouble out of her around a tree and she is a very tight tree dog. The guy that picked this female up for me when she was 12 weeks old has had 15 Buck Creek Dogs and only one dud. Hope this helps.
