Advertisements and what they really mean:

Gets deep quick = You never see him again when you turn him loose
Handles good = He does not get out of your sight and you Will trip over him at some point in the night
Independent = He will not hunt or tree with another dog whether the coon is there or not
Puppy price = This dog costs what a puppy would average, but you know you can work with a puppy and what you are getting, this dog may already be ruined
Loud mouth = This dog barks in the kennel continuosly
A real looker = This dog has absolutely nothing else going for it
Good pup trainer = Old and dilapidated. One hard running coon will send this dog to the spirit world
Good pedigree = This dogs breeding is mentioned because this dog has absolutely nothing to hang its hat on that he has done personally
Kennel quiet = Forget about hearing this dog over 100 yards in the woods
Lightly started = This dog knows how to lick pots
