It is the National DO NOT CALL list it will only take a

Even if it is a hoax, it never hurts to be on the do not call list, home or cell. But what happens is the telemarketers find a way around it. They'll start to use other phone numbers and unknown numbers like their own cells.
Recently someone I know started getting telemarketer texts. I told her to call Verizon and block them because they'll use up your # of allowable texts.

I get telemarketing calls on my cellphone all the time and have for the last year or longer.

They changed their modus operandi (MO).....they call as a "survey" pretext. I have my numbers on the do not call list. I don't get calls on my cell, but, every once in a while I get a "survey" call on the home phone........thank God for caller ID!!!!
