I have a possible Dualsired litter on the ground that are 6 weeks & totally weaned from there mother. I have all my prepaid DNA kits here for all the pups & parents along with my Dualsired litter litter registation application.

My first question is on the DNA test swab envelope it says "list registration # here". For the puppys that that dont have a # yet what do I put here? Im thinking about just filling in a simple ID name such as "PUP 1, PUP 2, etc.", but wasnt sure if UKC had a different method for this.

Next ? is will I get an accurate swab at this age as long as they are weaned & I follow all the proper steps?

Next ? is my paper work says you canot get a DNA profile until dog is perminantly registered. What happens in this situation when you need one to determine the sire & I have already prepaid full amount for profile?

I realize I can call UKC & ask these questions during day hours but I was online tonight & thought I would ask those of you that have had experiance with this.

Any info on these things or any other things I should be aware of while doing this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
