I have a 12 month old hound that hunts fine with my pack and when my neighbors dogs are with us.

Problem is, when there is a dog other than these in the pack, he won't hunt or pack in. He stays right with me. He's not afraid of the other dogs, as he's social with them when they are near. He just won't go anywhere in strange company.

Any of you ever experienced this and did the dog come out of it?

That is a common problem with dogs that don't hunt with different dogs. I try to put my dogs with every dog I can when we start hunting pups alot. The best way I know to get your dog over this is just start putting him with lots of different dogs. U might take some of your dogs that he will run with and let them start a race and then drop some different dogs down and let them just fall in with your dogs that might help. With your dogs running and some strange dogs just falling in the race with them may help him alot.
