One Eyed Bear?!?

I guess what they say is true - These dogs are lucky if they could catch a crippled bear.

We'll we happened into some luck today and put a one eyed bear up a tree.

Was a slow morning, a lot of sign, but nothing since before the rain. Then we got a blow up strike, turned em loose, and they treed this little fella about a hundred yards off the side of the road. He pretty much went down into the canyon and up the other side, and treed right before the top. Not real big, 100-150 lbs.

None of us noticed his eye until we were getting ready to leave. The tree was super foggy, and he was up there a ways.

I guess we'll know if we tree him again! Next time we might just tag him, see what the hell is up with that eye!! LOL Never seen nothin' like it.

Maybe that's what happened to his eye! Looked down and seen this! LOL

lol...

Most likely popped it runnin A stick into it. Or hit in A fight. As you say A young bear so coulda been A boar comein too breed momma and lucky he got out with A popped eye an not killed.. But it is A impact wound too the eye that dislodges it. Seen it in deer and cattle before...
