shows me the tree???

I have a male that tree's and will stay treed for a long while but as soon as im 40-50 yrds or so from the tree he will come off the tree and as soon as he meets up with me he will turn and run back to the tree and start treeing again and stays on tree until the meat comes out or in the off season i say cant get'em then he will come off the tree. any one else heard of this???

Many Many dogs do this. Especially young dogs, all you can do is tie them back and reward them for treeing a coon. Either they will start staying or do it the rest of their lives. Don't say a word or pet them when it starts to come back, just immediatley freeze and make the dog show you the tree and when it does pet it up really good. Either the idea will click or it woln't. Hope this helps
