Worming

I just wormed my dog for tapes, rounds and hooks. Is it safe to worm at the same time or should I wait to hit the rest of the worms with Safeguard? Maybe I don't even need to do both but want to make sure there are no worms at all.

It depends on what type of wormers you used. Only a vet would really know if the wormers would have any type of reaction or adverse effect on the dog to give them all at the same time. Just to be safe I would wait a couple days to let the first wormers clear the dogs system.

Thanks Virgil. I know the dog has a tape worm and bought some tapeworm meds at Tractor Supply. Not cheap either. Also sprayed her, her box and the ground around her kennel for fleas. I guess I'm paranoid about worms and usually have no problems with them or fleas at all.
