I had a daughter of Mac

She had to have been one of my top 4 dogs in my lifetime. She could do it all and do it right. Needed some help in the voice department. She was very loud when treed but did a lot of squealing on track. Nice hound though........ handled excellent and would strike from the truck at 60 mph, and be right. I used her to train all my pups, she was straight as a they come and she was very young. Never had any pups as she died from coon paralysis at around 2 years old.

I owned a direct son of Mac about 7 or 8 years ago.He was 9 when he died.I had a lot of fun with that old dog.Good bawl on track, steady chop on tree.He would tree a squirrel every once in a while, but other than that it was coon all the way.
Was plenty loud, didn't have no trouble hearing him and would stay treed until you got to him.
