yeah just screw the lid in the tree and then cut a hole in the peanut butter jar. Lasts about a week to a week and a half and all ya gotta do is take the empty off and put your new one on the lid already attached to the tree.

This is what we do also......To make the lid a little more sturdy, we put the flat part of a canning jar lid in the inside of the peanut butter lid before attachng it to the tree....Sometimes you can them for about a $1 a jar at a bent and dent store. You can get any cheaper than that.

I've not had any possums on mine. I used to put them out last year when I could get peanut butter for 59 cents a jar at Walmart but this year it has went close to 2 dollars. They dont last long, I would get about two nights out of the smaller jars.

So far we have not seen any....But, I don't think it would any worse than putting anything else out.

The deer love em' and will clean one up if you don't get it high enough.

Here's a pic I just got off my camera, apparently skunks like corn. Hope it was just passing through. I've got two or three coon using this feeder as well. That possum has been there a couple nights as well.
