Not to me. My dogs did ok on it but no better than what I was feeding for alot less. We use BG and love it!

Up until about ten days ago I always thougt it was too high. Last week I bought a bag of Pro Plan Performance for a pup I'm raising that is a finicky eater and my female that I am hunting really hard. I started my female on it last wednesday and I can already tell a big difference in her hair and coat. She is also starting to muscle up more than she did on either Black Gold or Sportmix. The first couple nights she hunted about the same but the last few nights out she seems to have a little more energy.

I have been feeding her 2 1/3 cups like it says on the bag and thats all. That is like half of the amount of Sportmix I was feeding her to keep weight on during hard hunting. When you consider the amount less you feed it makes it a lot closer in price to other feeds. So far I am a strong believer in it, I am considering putting another one of my older dogs on Pro Plan but will probably put him on something less than the Performance formula because he will not get hunted much until season.
