Random thought on Alpha's

Let's say you walk into a room of strangers. Everyone is looking around and observing one another. We notice out of the roomfull of people; who is shy or boastful, ugly or pretty, the comedian or moody, the bully or caring person, and etc... We automatically sense out of the room of strangers who the dominant leaders are.

So here's my thought.......

Has anyone ever given any thought to the possibilities of the dogs distinguishing the dominant or Alpha dogs at the Night cast hunts and somewhat following that Alpha dog through the night hunt? I have been paying attention to the way some of these Night Hunts go.... and I am weighing heavily on a consideration that some of these dogs automatically "bow down to" the dog that possesses the personna of Alpha and in a round about way follow that dogs lead, or end up being a Me Too to that dog. Im not saying that it happens in every night hunt. But tell me if you have ever considered the thought......

Some dogs do exhibit that submissive behavior in a nite hunt

What do you suppose will happen when two ALPHA'S meet in a cast? Do you suppose this ALPHA behavior is misunderstood as aggressive behavior by us HUMANS/UKC NITE HUNT RULES?

Whats your take on an aggressive TREE dog.Could it be a signature for ALPHA?

Dogs will be Dogs, they most certainly will display their dominance,
just hope no one is looking/noticeing.As far as following the ALPHA, there is more to it than that. That ALPHA has to earn a following, not just intimidate.A submissive dog on the other hand just by it's very nature will "bow down"and follow.

JMO
A "me to dog" in general is a submissive dog. It's just following it's DNA to " PACK" hunt.

One more thought.

As Humans, aren't we supposed to be " ALPHA".
